Mild to moderate cold wave was sweeping over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions and it might continue, Bangladesh Meteorological Department said on Wednesday morning.

According to the Met office regular bulletin, ‘A mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions and the districts of Jashore and Chuadanga and it may continue.’

Weather might remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies over the country, it said.

Moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during midnight to morning.

Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
